Tennessee is a beautiful state with a lot of culture. They are known for their music production and great shows. The state features beautiful landscape in the Smoky Mountains and kid friendly vacation spots. You are going to find a lot of February events in Nashville including the Annual Bluegrass Music Awards and Convention. The event is held at the Sheraton Music City Hotel and features bands, workshops, promoters and talent buyers, agencies, record companies and trade show exhibits.

In Lynchburg you will find a museum dedicated to the Tennessee Walking Horse. The horse is famous for its mild manners and exquisitely smooth gait. This is the only organization dedicated to preserving the history of this great breed. The exhibits feature the formation of the breed registry, the foundation bloodlines, Celebration Show history, World Grand Champions, versatility of the horse and the care and training of the horse. The museum also feature rotating exhibitions on the current World Champion, a featured breeder and trainer.

The Grand Ole Opry is an American tradition and the number one attraction in Nashville. The Opry is the place to see today and yesterdays country music stars, superstars and the legends. There are unforgettable moments happening on stage at every performance each week. The Grand Ole Opry is located in Nashville. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a must see if you are a country music lover. Audio tours by Vince Gill, Dolly Parton and other stars are available for self-tours. Exhibitions include the Historic RCA Studio B, Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Charley Pride and many recorded songs. The building itself is quite unique as the windows are designed to look like the keys of a piano.

The Tennessee Aquarium is located in Chattanooga. The aquarium features a cove forest with otters and swamp with lurking alligators. In the undersea cavern you will be surround by reef fish and sharks. Next door you can see the six-story IMAX 3D Theater for their special showings. You can save a little money by purchasing a dual ticket. Sun Studio is open in Memphis for guided tours. This studio is considered the Birthplace of Rock n Roll. This is where Blues and Country Music turned into Rock and where Elvis recorded his music.

The Hermitage is the Home of President Andrew Jackson. Located in Nashville, the Presidents mansion is available with guides in full costume. The home was opened as a museum in 1889 and over 15 million visitors have passed through the rooms of this beautiful house and plantation. The Hermitage celebrates Black History Month in February with Stories from the Hermitage Slave Community.
